Recently I refinished a small dresser that I fell in love with the minute I saw it on Craigslist. It was everything I wanted; a small dresser for clothes that could also be used as a side table.
Here is the before:
Before refinishing it the trim was scratched up and painted a not so flattering gold. The rest was scratched, but not quite as bad.
The Process:
1. I had to sand down everything except for the top on this dresser. The top wasn't scratched at all and the color actually matched the colors I had picked.
2. Next I primed the dresser and drawers a white.
3. Then I had to carefully tape all the trims.
4. And lastly I painted it all.
Here is the after:
I painted the trims; acorn yellow. And the rest; antique white. Both colors by Benjamin Moore.
This dresser has become a lovely piece in my room. It is really helping to lighten my bright green space.

Ever since I can remember my favorite thing about design has been all the fun patterns. There are so many and a good one just makes me extremely happy. Whenever I walk into a home store i'm always so drawn to the sheets with geometric patterns.
I love this Pattern from Serena and Lily. And also this one.
